Battery Installation

Thisdeviceisdesignedforeasysetup.Thefollowingstepsarerequiredtobedoneinthepropersequence.Pleaseinsertbatteriesf ort he

1. Pressan dslidetoopenthebatterycovera tthebackofthe unit.Insert2AAbatteries accordingtothepolaritymarksinsidethe

batterycompartment

2. Closethebatterycover

3. Onceyouhaveproperlyinstalledthebatteries,theLCDdisplaywillshowthefulldisplayfor3secondsandenterthenormalmode

afterthebeepsound.Thetimewilldefaultto0:00andcalendartoJanuary1.Thealarmwilldefaultto0:00,theweathericonwill

defaultt opartlysunny.Thetemperaturescalewilldefaultto°C.Thetimesy stemwill defaultto24hours.

Wireless Remote Sensor Registration Procedure

3. Insert3AAAbatteriesacco rdingtothepolaritymarki ngsonthebatter ycompartment

4. Oncethebatteriesareinserted,thesensorwillstarttransmittingtemperature readingsfor3minutes 

5. Thereceiv ingunitwilldisplayremotechanne l1andthetemperaturereading

6. Whileinthenorma ldisplay mode,holdingdownthe“CHANNEL”buttonfor2se condswillclearthechannelinform ation

7. Afterregist rationiscompleted forsensor 1,putther ubbersealintothecovergroove,closethebatterycover,tightenthescrews,

andslideonthebracketstand.Fo llowthesameprocedureifinstallingadditionalremotesensors.



NOTE:

Aftery ouhaveplacedthesensorinther emotelocation,observethereceivingunitchan neldisplayforthatsensorafter35minutes. Ifthe

(--)dashiconisflashingforchannelone, thesignalhasbe enlost,tryrota tingthesensorin45°steps, waitforatleast3minutesafter

eachpositionchange.Observethereceivingunitchanneldisplayoneachpositiontodeterminethattheremotetemperaturedisplayhas

beenrestored,ifnot,movetheremotesensorclosertothereceivingunitorrepositionboththereceivingunitandtheremotesensoruntil

receptionisobse rved. 


